Former Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) Minister Kapil Mishra on Tuesday has filed First Information Report (FIR) against Arvind Kejriwal and other party leaders to the Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI).

Mishra has accused the Delhi chief minister and AAP convener Arvind Kejriwal  of taking Rs2 crore in illegal cash from health minister Satyender Jain at his home last Friday and delaying the probe in the Rs 400 crore tanker scam.

Mr Mishra also said he will file two more FIRs - one on "how Mr Jain has benefited close relatives of Mr Kejriwal in illegal land deals" and another on foreign tours using "illegal money" by AAP leaders including Mr Jain, Ashish Khetan and Sanjay Singh.

Mr Mishra who was suspended by the party yesterday, called Mr Kejriwal his mentor and sought his blessings and "forgiveness" before filing a complaint against him.

"Today I am launching my crusade against the same Arvind Kejriwal, from whom I have learnt to fight against corruption, to fight for truth," Mishra said in the open letter.

"Since yesterday, I have received 211 complaints of corruption against party and the government. Whatever happened behind the veils in the past two years is painful. You along with few of your colleagues have broken trust of people," Kapil Mishra claimed.

Earlier, responding to Mishra, Kejriwal promised to expose a "larger conspiracy" on the issue raging in the country.

"AAP leader Saurabh Bharadwaj will make the revelation in the Delhi assembly today," Kejriwal said in a tweet

.Delhi government has called for one-day special session of the Assembly on Tuesday.
