A leopard entered Manesar's Maruti Suzuki plant near Gurugram on Thursday.

As per reports, the leopard was found roaming inside the 'Engine Department' at around 4 am by a security personnel on duty. The premises were evacuated.

The morning shift has been scrapped and the staff members have been asked to not enter the complex. Around 2,000 workers have gathered outside the complex waiting for their shift to begin.

Police and officials from the forest department rushed to the factory to rescue the animal. They were monitoring the Closed Circuit Television Cameras to locate the animal.

In April this year, a leopard entered a house in Sohna in the district and left five people injured.
