Air India launches direct flights from Chandigarh to Bangkok

Air India on Monday launched direct flights from Chandigarh to Bangkok, Thailand.

The Chandigarh-Bangkok flight is be the third international flight from the Chandigarh international airport at Mohali, which has already been air-connected with Dubai and Sharjah.

The direct flights will operate thrice a week — Monday, Wednesday and Friday. The direct flight to Bangkok from Chandigarh will take approximately five hours. The flight will depart from the Chandigarh at 1.25 pm Indian local time and reach the Bangkok at 8:15 pm.The flight from Bangkok to Chandigarh will depart at 5:40 am (Bangkok local time) and reach here at 9:20 am (Indian local time). 

The time difference between Bangkok and India is 1 hour 30 minutes.

The airlines will operate Airbus’s latest variant A320 Neo with 12 business class seats and 150 seats for the economy class. 

Air India had first announced the Chandigarh-Bangkok flight last year, which was later postponed to April and October.
