Bollywood's highest grossing film to date Dangal’s star Zaira Wasim, 17, has accused a 39-year-old Vikas Sachdev of molesting her during a Vistara Delhi-Mumbai flight on Sunday.

The teen actress said a man sitting behind her had repeatedly moved his foot up and down her neck and back while she was "half-asleep".Ms Wasim had accused the airline of not doing anything to help her when she raised the issue. She posted about the incident on her Instagram account early on Sunday.

Meanwhile, the 39-year-old man who was arrested by Mumbai police, told the reporters he apologized to the actress after finding out that his leg had touched her shoulder. He said he was returning from Delhi after attending a funeral and was really tired while on the flight. He said, he did it unintentionally.

His lawyer has claimed that that is nothing but a publicity stunt by victim. Vikas lawyer said, his client does not have any criminal background and is happily married for 12 years and has 9 year old son.

Both Ms Wasim and the accused were traveling in a business class.

The POSCO (Protection of Children from Sexual Offences) act was invoked since the actor is a minor.

The teen actress was awarded the National Child Award for Exceptional Achievement earlier this year by India's President Ram Nath Kovind.
