Justin Bieber is on a concert tour in India for his album Purpose Shera. The singer landed in Mumbai very early on Wednesday morning.

"I named this tour Purpose for a reason. Everyone has a purpose. You should always believe the best is yet to come," Justin Bieber told his fans at the DY Patil Stadium in Navi Mumbai.

Before the concert the star paid a visit to an orphanage in Mumbai and visited a slum area on his way to the concert venue.

Bieber cancelled all his plans of sightseeing in Jaipur and Agra and left India hours after his performance.

The Mumbai concert witnessed over 45,000 fans, some of them camped outside Mumabi’s international airport since Sunday.

The concert started at around 5 pm with Sartek’s opening performance, and there was Zaeden.

Bieber started his performance with his popular tracks like Where are you now, The Feeling and Mark my words amidst huge cheer. He wrapped his Mumbai concert with Sorry.

Many of his fans thought he was lip syncing his performance, but many others loved him to bits.

Bieber is on the road with his Purpose Tour since February and has already played at 22 locations including Australia, Mexico, Brazil and Dubai. The tour ends in September and he still has South Africa, much of Europe and North America to cover.
