Priyanka Chopra wins People’s Choice Award for the ‘Favourite Dramatic TV Actress’

Indian actress Priyanka Chopra has won the ‘Favourite Dramatic TV Actress’ at the 43rd People's Choice Awards held at the Microsoft Theater in Los Angeles, California on January 18.

The actress got an award for her role in the American drama TV series ‘Quantico’.

This is the second People’s Choice Award for Priyanka. In 2016 she won her first award in the ‘Favourite Actress in a New TV series’ category for her role in ‘Quantico’.

As she picked up the award for favorite dramatic television actress, she told fans: 'I'm really psyched. Can I do a little wiggle?'Then she joked: 'Sorry, it's the concussion talking. Thank you'

Priyanka is still recovering from a concussion she suffered a week ago after a fall on the set of the ABC drama Quantico where she plays the role of an FBI agent named Alex Parrish.

One of India's highest-paid and most popular celebrities, Chopra has received numerous awards, including a National Film Award and five Filmfare Awards.

In 2016, the Government of India honoured her with the Padma Shri, the fourth highest civilian award, and Time magazine named her one of the 100 most influential people in the world.
